Binstack (“we”, “our”, “us”) makes a desktop application for tracking product inventory, expiration dates, and storage locations. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and application, why we collect it, and how it’s handled.
Product names, expiration dates, storage locations, and quantities that you add to Binstack are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or have access to this inventory data unless a future version explicitly adds an optional cloud-sync feature, in which case this policy will be updated before that feature is enabled.
When you buy a 1-Year or Lifetime license, payment is handled by our payment processor(s), which may include PayPal and, if purchased via the Microsoft Store, Microsoft. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive:
We may use privacy-respecting analytics on this website to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which pages are visited), without tracking individuals across other sites. If we ever add cookies or third-party tracking, this policy will be updated first.
Purchases may be processed by PayPal and/or the Microsoft Store, each governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review PayPal’s and Microsoft’s privacy policies directly, as we do not control how they handle your data.
We retain purchase and license records for as long as needed to provide support, honor lifetime licenses, and meet accounting/tax obligations. You can request deletion of your contact information at any time, subject to what we’re legally required to keep for financial records.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below to make a request.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
